The Magical Gaylord Rockies

This past weekend we were lucky enough to be hosted by the Gaylord Rockies.

Talk about a magical Christmas experience!

The Gaylord Rockies has created the perfect holiday extravaganza. One of the highlights of the day was the winter wonderland that they have outback. The boys absolutely LOVED the Snow Merry Go Round, snow tubing, ice bumper cars and iceskating!

Gaylord Rockies did such a fantastic job at following all proper protocols and regulations. Face coverings were required everywhere inside of the resort with the exception of eating, drinking and swimming. We witnessed nonstop cleaning taking place and there was hand sanitizer placed all over the resort, both inside and outside.

I was so impressed with the extra safety and cleaning measures that were being taken on all rides. I felt completely at ease having my little ones there enjoying the activities.

Salem girl and I snuck away at one point to warm up inside. I was so happy to see that there was no shortage of delicious food and coffee!

Starbucks for me and Christmas cookies for her, all while taking in the gorgeous view of the Rockies.

After those outdoor activities were finished, it was time to visit Charlie Brown & friends. Charlie Brown movies hold a special nostalgic place in our hearts and I was SO happy to know they were able to visit him.

They had it set up perfectly so we were able to take photos, wave and say hi to the characters all while remaining socially distant.

Once we were finished saying hi to our new friends it was time for the highlight of our visit.

I Love Christmas Movies!

I Love Christmas Movies is an interactive walk thru that puts you right in the middle of your favorite Christmas movies. We had the most wonderful guide who took us into each movie all while keeping the kids guessing, laughing and curious.

Graham was selected to light up the Griswold’s house, Wyatt got to set the scene of A Christmas Story in motion and we were all completely blown away by how detailed and spot on the scenes were!

Something we will never forget.

I cannot thank the Gaylord Rockies enough for bringing some much needed Christmas magic and holiday spirit to our family!
